Rizal Day 2012

The 116^th Anniversary of Martyrdom of Dr. Jose P. Rizal was successfully celebrated last December 30, 2012 guided with the theme “Rizalismo: Sandigan ng Kaunlaran, Pagkakaisa at Kapayapaan”. It was well attended by LGU officials, Brgy. Officials, DepEd Family and some citizens. It is in commemorating the essence of Rizal’s greatness, sacrifices and the use of his many talents and intellect to fight against Spanish colonizers who abused and tormented the Filipino people.

The first part of the celebration was the Thanksgiving Mass, afterward was the Flag raising and followed by the traditional wreath-laying, floral offering at the Rizal Monument, and a short program.
