GIGAQUIT SUMMER SPORTS TOURNAMENT 2013

“Winning or losing doesn’t matter, what matters most is how we play the game“, this lines motivated the Gigaquitnons so much as they celebrated their “Summer Sports Tournament 2013”.

The Local Government Unit of Gigaquit in coordination of the Municipal Tourism Office headed by Mr. Lee Dedumo  OIC-Tourism Officer, conducted summer sports activities; The Gigaquit 1^st Beach Football conducted last April 7, 2013 (Sunday)and Beach Volleyball Tournament conducted last April 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28, 11, 12, 18, 19, (Saturdays and Sundays).

BEACH FOOTBALL

In the Beach football game; it was participated by different teams.

In the Beach volleyball game; there were 12 teams who participated from different agencies and barangays and they were divided into two brackets:

All teams were determined to grab the opportunity to win the said tournament but as usual in every game there’s always a winner and a loser.

The said sports competition was a very close match.  But ended with the players showing their sportsmanship with each other.
